I was born 21 July 1971 in Syracuse, NY.
I remember in my early years, whenever we would visit my great-grandmother, I would be fascinated by her old upright piano, sitting alone at it experimenting with magic, especially the sustain pedal.
My grandmother also had an organ I would tinker with.
At around age 17 I began playing guitar, learning mostly Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin songs.
In a few years I started writing my own songs.
Knowing that I was not cut out for a 9-5 job, realizing that I was not part of the system, I decided to make music my primary goal in 1993-94.
Moved to North Carolina in 1995, where I began this journey...
