Lifesmyth was founded in 1994 by Scott Charles Smith.
The name came about when his girlfriend at the time suggested he use "SCOTT'S MYTH" to represent musical identity.
Not being a fan of self-named bands, "LIFE'S MYTH" surfaced in Scott's thoughts one day. Having several connotations, the name "LIFESMYTH" seemed quite suitable.
Starting out as a one-man operation, writing, recording, playing all instruments, and singing, Scott began his quest to create music which he longed for, but didn't seem to exist anywhere but within.
